i can still get the deal at the marriott in palm springs (i think it was something like 80 a night) but august in palm springs is way way hot! i can't do that first weekend in august. i could do the last 2 weekends in august. october would actully be the best month for me. but as far as the marriott deal i can get any courtyard or fairfield for 35 a night (depending on availability of course). later - holly
