Yeah, the pottery thing was kind of a fiasco. I was with Eric's sister who had her baby 4 days before I had Amanda. We thought it would be a great idea to make him a candy dish with the kids' handprints on it. Well, good idea in theroy. Between trying to keep two 8 month olds happy which inclded the shopkeepers carrying Amanda around for 45 minutes, changing 3 diapers, feeding two tubs of Gerber peas and three bottles, etc we had a bowl with some really cool smudge marks on it!!!!!!!!! I guess it is the thought that counts. I really like Holly's theory though. I think I will try that one. And I guess he wants the DVD collection of the second season of 24. Great, another reason for him to sit and watch TV while I take care of the kid!
