so i know i was harsh in what i texted to the girl. i guess i was trying to get her to (1) stop texting my son and (2) make her feel stupid about what she is sending out. i think your right about that they must acting all sweet at home then different elsewhere. i also think some parents are so afraid of "offending" their kids that they don't even want to sit down and talk to them about this sort of stuff (obviously i am not one of those that is afraid of being offensive or blunt :). it is just weird how the tables have turned - it used to be the guys having to beg for it, now they are just having it handed to them. i wonder how these types of girls are going to feel about themselves years from now when they look back with a more mature perspective. that girl will probably only remember the freak mom that send her the rude text messages! okay enough of the trying to analyze the teenagers. that is just impossible!

what is obama day? my mom called me yesterday to see how much $ she had in her account because she feels the need to send checks to all the letters she gets from different republican campaigns. i wish she would get away from the tv and stop watching all those extreme conservative shows. she is a crazy lady, that one. i watched a few minutes of that glen beck guy the other night, just to see what all the hype was about. he is weird, i couldn't even understand what he was talking about. how could she sit and watch that for hours.
